Ask Price

The price at which a currency can be bought in the market. It represents the minimum price a seller is willing to accept for a specific currency.

  • Simple Example: TechCorp needs to buy €100,000. The ask price for EUR/USD is 1.1000, meaning TechCorp can buy euros at a rate of 1.1000 USD per euro.
  • Numerical Breakdown:
    • To buy €100,000 at the ask price of 1.1000, the cost in USD would be:
    • 100,000 × 1.1000 = 110,000 USD
